Endpoint backup |
Endpoint backup feature enables an easy way to provide backup services for managed computers using Miradore. The Endpoint backup feature is an optional feature, which can be enabled and/or disabled from the system settings of Miradore. In the system settings, it is also possible to set a scope, which defines the computers where backup is allowed to be used. Endpoint backup allows to backup and restore files located at managed computers. The backup files can be stored to a local or network file system or to backup servers over HTTP/HTTPS protocol. In addition, device users can access Endpoint backup client application from their computers and use it to follow the backup jobs configured for their computers. The users can also create backup jobs of their own if administrators have allowed that from the system settings of Miradore. All backup jobs, whether they are configured by administrators or device users, are listed and manageable at the management console of Miradore. More information: |
Patch management |
Miradore's patch management feature can be used for monitoring, downloading, and installing software and operating system security patches for Windows computers. Power management |
Miradore power management collects power state information of managed Windows devices, thereby making it possible to analyze the power consumption and energy costs of a single device or a group of computers. In addition, Miradore provides efficient tools for controlling the power consumption of devices. With the help of Miradore power management it is possible to define power profiles that allow to plan and implement customized power-saving settings for devices in different roles. For example, it is possible to schedule the wake up and power down times of computers in certain device role and location. Quality and security reporting |
Miradore quality and security reporting makes your whole IT environment transparent by combining information from relevant data sources related to your IT operations, like hardware asset management, software asset management, security systems (antivirus, firewall, vulnerability management), Microsoft Active Directory and other systems. The Miradore quality index reports are used to visualize the data from these data sources and it reflects the state of your IT assets. The quality index is made of one or more quality indicators reflecting the quality of your IT assets. Self service portal |
Self service portal is a web-based, end-user portal for users of the devices that are managed with Miradore. With the help of Self service portal, end-users can view and revise information concerning assets that have been assigned to their responsibility, request and perform software installations and/or uninstallations, view the backup status of their devices, and manage support tickets whose owners they are. Since Self service portal is available in Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish, most of the users can use the portal on their preferred language. System administrators are able to grant or deny users access to different parts or features of Self service portal according to properties of an asset. For example, access to Self service portal can be totally denied from assets that have been assigned to certain device role, location, or organization. In addition, the system administrators are able to rebrand the user interface of Self service portal to match with the visual identity of customer organization. With the help of comprehensive customization settings, all logos and the colour palette of Self service portal can be replaced with your own. More information: |
