Task |
Description |
Create new |
Creates a new license pool. Read Adding software licenses to Miradore to learn more about license management. |
Export |
By default, this task exports all the view contents in the selected file format. However, you can use the check boxes in the view to export selected rows only. You can select rows for the export from one page of the view at a time. The supported file formats for the data export are CSV, Excel, and PDF. In some views, configuration items can be also exported to a group distribution. |
Import... |
With this task, administrators and license administrators can import license pools and licenses to Miradore Management Suite from a CSV file. An Excel template file is provided on the first screen of the wizard which opens when you run the task. Fill in the license pool information to the template file, save the file in CSV format, and you're all set to import the license pools. Miradore Management Suite 4.6.0 doesn't support the importing of license pools that have been exported to a CSV file earlier from this same view. For more information, read Importing license pools from a CSV file. |
Prints the view contents. |

Tools > Add software... |
With this task, administrators, license administrators and software approvers can define what software the licenses in the selected pool(s) permit to use. Running this task opens a popup in which the user can specify the permitted software for each of the selected License pools one by one. The user can define the permitted software for each license pool using any of the below described methods:
