Built-in dashboard
About this article
There are two kinds of dashboards in Miradore Management Suite: the
built-in dashboards that come with the product, and the custom-made dashboards
created by administrators.
This article introduces the built-in, read-only dashboards of Miradore
Management Suite. If you want to learn how to create custom dashboards,
please read Creating

About dashboards
Dashboards provide information about your environment in form of easy-to-understand
visual graphs and tables. Each dashboard has a set of quick, easy to understand
parameters of the environment displayed in graphical form.
Location of built-in dashboards
You can find the built-in Miradore dashboards through the Dashboard
selector that is located in the top pane of Miradore user interface (picture
below).

Default dashboard
Home dashboard is shown to users as a first thing when they log in to
Miradore Management Suite. Also, when user clicks the Home
button in the top pane, he or she is taken to the default Home dashboard.
Miradore's built-in Main dashboard
is the default dashboard for all users, but that setting can be overridden.

Built-in dashboards
The table below presents all different dashboards available in Miradore.

Main |
Main dashboard consists of
three tables that include the most commonly needed information.
The main dashboard is also the starting page of Miradore and it
can be loaded by clicking the "Main" link on the top
pane.
Quality index reports table contains the top
priority quality index reports that can be used for detecting
problems in environment quality.
The News table shows the latest news which
typically are notifications of maintenance work, new software
packages etc.
The Assets by status table gives an overview
over assets by displaying all managed assets by status and
hardware model.

Assets dashboard contains

The Assets by status table gives an overview
over assets by displaying all managed assets by status and
hardware model.
Active assets by month table displays the
active assets in each month by hardware category. With this
table you can also follow the development in total amount
of active assets.
Operating systems by device role table displays
the amount of used operating systems by device role. You can
see the list of assets that are using the operating system,by
clicking the magnifying glass icon.
Operating systems by month displays amounts
of used operating systems by manufacturer. By clicking the
chart icon, you can also view historical reports of operating
system usage per day, week, or month.
Assets requiring a license table displays
the peak number of Miradore license subscriptions in different
hardware categories during each month. Additionally, Current column shows the
current amount of Miradore license subscriptions. If you click
the total row of Current
column, you are able to see a general Miradore license subscriptions
report. On the other hand, if you click the current amount
of Miradore license subscriptions from some hardware category,
you are able to see more specific data of the license subscriptions
in that hardware category.
Assets requiring a software catalog license
table shows the demand of software catalog licenses in different
hardware categories by month. The table is not shown if software
catalog feature is disabled. Read more about the licensing

Assets requiring a patch management license
table shows the demand of patch management licenses in different
hardware categories by month. The table is not shown in patch
management feature is disabled. Read more about the licensing

Installations |
Installations dashboard provides
statistical information of initial installations and package installations.
Initial installations chart illustrates the
amount of initial installations per each day on last month.
Package installations chart illustrates the
amount of package installation per each day on last month
Initial installations by OS by month table
displays the amounts of initial installations per month by
operating system. By clicking the chart icon, you can see
a bar graph that illustrates the installations.
Statistics table shows numeric statistics
of package installations, initial installations, and group
distributions.

Quality dashboard outlines
the environment's quality by providing the most commonly needed
quality index reports and up-to-date status of inventory information.
