Export > Excel / PDF / CSV |
By default, this task exports all the view contents in the selected file format. However, you can use the check boxes in the view to export selected rows only. You can select rows for the export from one page of the view at a time. The supported file formats for the data export are CSV, Excel, and PDF. In some views, configuration items can be also exported to a group distribution. If you experience system errors or timeouts when trying to export large amounts of data to Excel, you can try to troubleshoot the problem by adjusting the value of the "Number of rows processed per query" field in Miradore system settings > Main > Export settings. |
Export > Group distribution |
Adds assets to an existing group distribution job or creates a new group distribution job. |
|
Prints the selected asset configuration item or a label for it. More information about asset label printing. |
Tools > Miradore client > Install Miradore client |
Installs Miradore client to the selected devices. In the popup which opens, you can select which user account and client deployer should be used to install the client. In addition, there is a check box "Prefer IP over device name". When this is selected, the client installation uses IP address for connecting to the device. This is useful, for example, if there is many devices with the same device name in the Miradore instance, or if the device name has been changed recently. The client installation status can be seen from Miradore client installations view (Operations > Software management > Installation status > Miradore client installations). |
Tools > Miradore client > Run scheduled task(s) now |
Wakes up Miradore client in the selected device(s) and commands the scheduler to run the scheduled tasks, such as inventory scans immediately. The built-in scheduled tasks can be managed from "Administration > System settings > Clients > General > Built-in scheduled tasks" in the management console of Miradore. |
Tools > Miradore client > Install approved patches now |
Wakes up Miradore client in the selected device(s) and commands Miradore Patcher to install any approved but not installed patches. Use this task to initiate patching when the device is unoccupied and ready for patching. This task ignores any possible maintenance windows set for the device. Notice that the device may be rebooted if the patches require a restart. |
Tools > Clear inventory information |
Clears the selected types of inventory data gathered from the selected device(s). For example, if you select two devices from the view and then choose Tasks > Tools > Clear inventory information > Custom inventory, only the data gathered by custom inventory is cleared from the two selected asset configuration items. Other inventory data types are preserved as they were. For more information see Clearing inventory information. |
Tools > Activate initial installation |
Activates an initial installation of selected device(s). This task is hid from the Tasks menu when installations management feature is disabled in Miradore system settings. |
Tools > Request asset confirmation |
Sends an asset confirmation request to responsible person(s) of selected device(s). See Asset information update and confirmation process for more information. |
