Automation Engine is located on the central server of Miradore Management Suite. The Automation Engine is the component responsible for processing and running Automation task items defined in Automation tasks view.

The execution of Automation Engine is controlled by the "Run Automation Engine" system task, which runs the Automation Engine every 15 minutes by default. The system task can be manually started and enabled or disabled from Miradore system settings > System tasks > Maintenance.
Automation Engine utilizes Miradore web service in getting reports and also in creating package deployments according to the configurations that administrators have defined with Automation task items in Automation tasks view.
You can find logs related to the Automation engine and automation tasks from two places:
Automation
task item > Analyze tab > History provides a record
of past runs of that specific automation task. You can find the settings
for this log from the "Administration > System settings >
Main > Event log settings > Automation
tasks". Hitting the
button at the rightmost end of the field clears the entire event log
for all Automation task items.
System settings > Event
log > System tasks provides a record of past runs of the
Automation engine. The log entries for the Automation engine can be
found with "Run Automation Engine" name. You can find
the log settings for all system tasks from the "Administration
> System settings > Main > Event log settings > System tasks". Hitting
the button at the rightmost end
of the field clears the entire event log for all System tasks.
