Problem

Solution

You cannot find the package from the list

Check that the package exists.

If the package exist

  1. Check that the operating system is listed in the Supported OS of the package.

  2. If the package is marked as Initial Install only it cannot be installed with Install Package function

  3. Check the Package status

If the package does not exist

  1. Build a package.

Both of these situations can be resolved by persons in Package builders role.

Installation point not updated

Check Installation point replication. Contact person responsible for Installation points.

Installation point not reachable

Server down

Share not accessible

Firewall

  • Device-, internal or WAN firewalls etc.

  • If package does not start then the problem is between Miradore server and client.

  • If package fails because it cannot connect to installation point then the problem is between client and installation point.

The package is configured to run in the context of the logger in user who is also the device's responsible person, but the responsible person is not logged in.
