Pending package distributions can be paused for troubleshooting purposes if it is noticed that earlier package distributions for the asset configuration item have failed, and the reason is unknown.
This can be done using the menu tasks on the Asset configuration item's Events > Distribution status tab.
"Pause waiting distributions..." stops all package distributions which are pending in "waiting" status. With this option, it is possible to interrupt waiting package installations, for example if on-going package installations are failing and the problem needs troubleshooting.
"Resume paused distributions..." continues all the paused package distributions.
