Packages can be attached to following configuration items:

Asset |
Attaching packages to an asset is the way how to define packages per user or per device. The attached package(s) are installed by default when re-installing the device. |
Operations > Asset management > Assets > By name > Item. |
Start |
The packages attached to the Start section are always installed first during the device initial installation. This is useful when you want to have some software, for example a vulnerability fix, available during the whole initial installation process. |
Administration > Installation settings > Start & End Packages > Item. |
End |
The packages attached to the End section are always installed as the last packages during the device initial installation. This is useful when you want to avoid some software, for example a real-time virus check or client firewall, during the initial installation process. This can also be used for some aftercare actions, such as disk de-fragmentation or temporary files cleanup. |
Administration > Installation settings > Start & End Packages > Item.

Miradore system packages article describes what built-in packages there are in Miradore that you can use to configure the initial installations.
Open the configuration item page and press the "Edit"-button.
In the "Installation Settings" -table add a new package profile by clicking "Add new profile..."
Choose the Operating System and the Device Role to specify the target for assigning the default packages.
Save the profile by clicking the "Save"-button.
Open the profile and add the packages by first clicking "Add package... ".
Select the packages from the list and click the "OK-button".
If you want to remove a package, select it and click" Remove package...".
Define the installation order of the packages by moving the selected packages up/down with the "Re-order" -buttons or by using drag-and-drop.
If you want to reboot the device after the package has been installed, mark the checkbox next to the package.
When the packages are selected and the installation order is defined , save the profile by clicking the "Save"-button.
Finally, save the configuration item by clicking the "Save"-button in the item toolbar.
The number in parentheses next to a package profile tells how many packages are assigned to it. If you want to remove a profile, click the "Remove profile" -button next it. To copy a profile (for another OS/role), click the "Copy profile" -button next to it and define the new scope for the copied profile and click the "Save"-button.
Notice that some packages require a reboot in order to work. For example, "Miradore Change Device Name" and "Miradore Offline Domain Join" system packages require a reboot. However, one reboot is enough. So, it is possible to run the installation of multiple packages first, and then reboot the computer once in the end.
Also notice that it is not possible to attach "Miradore Change Device Name" and "Miradore Offline Domain Join" system packages to Asset configuration items.
