The following figure shows the user interface for an item. Clicking the item tabs updates the content of the page and toolbar. You can find field descriptions for the item attributes by clicking on the info icon that is provided in the header of each table on the item page.

Main |
Contains manually entered information of an item. This is common to all items. |
Event log |
The event log page records changes history of the configuration item. This tab is common to all items. Recorded events are:

Inventory report |
Contains the automatically collected information of an item. This tab is only available on few item pages. |
Distribution status |
Shows the history log of all installed packages and the status information of each installation. This tab is only available in the asset configuration and group distribution item pages. |
Package actions |
The main package building workspace containing all package actions. This tab is only available on package item page. |
Bindings |
Contains the bindings and relations of the configuration item. For example in the package item page shows the configuration items (locations, organisations, asset configurations) where the package has been assigned. This tab is available in most of the item pages. |
The status pane provides summary information related to the selected item.

Close |
Closes the configuration item page. |
Edit |
Changes the item page into edit mode or if in edit mode back to read mode. In case of inadequate permissions the Edit button is not shown. See permissions. |
Save |
Saves the manually entered configuration information. |
Remove |
Changes the status of the configuration item. Depending of the item the status is either retired or closed etc. |
Prints the active item page tab content in print format. |

Tasks |
A drop down list containing the tools, administrative tasks, and actions available for the configuration item. The tasks menu is context-sensitive by default. In case of inadequate permissions the Tasks button is not shown. See permissions. |
The item content pane is context-sensitive by default, based on the selection done in the item page tab. The content of each item page is divided into tables that contain attributes which are similar to each other. You can find the descriptions for each field on the item page by clicking on the info icon from the section header.
