Task

Description

Change status > Request activation

With this task, users with the role of administrator or editor can request the activation of the group distribution.

A notification email will be sent to specified user(s) if group distribution approval notifications are enabled in "Administration > System settings > Approval process notifications > Group distribution approval request".

This task is hidden if the group distribution approval requests are disabled in the system settings.

This task is inactive if no valid targets have been chosen for the group distribution job. You can add devices as targets to a group distribution using the "Export > Miradore group distribution" view task, which can be found in many views listing asset configuration items, for example in the Assets by name view.

Change status > Activate

With this task, users with the role of administrator or editor + group distribution approver can activate the group distribution. After activation, the group distribution will be performed according to the schedule and settings defined at the group distribution item page.

This task is inactive if no valid targets have been chosen for the group distribution job. You can add devices as targets to a group distribution using the "Export > Miradore group distribution" view task, which can be found in many views listing asset configuration items, for example in the Assets by name view.

Change status > Reject

With this task, users with the role of administrator or editor + group distribution approver can reject group distribution activation requests if there is a reason to deny the activation. A rejected group distribution is returned back to "New" status.

Change status > Close

With this task, users with the role of administrator or editor + group distribution approver can close group distributions.

Cancel schedule

This task can be used to cancel a group distribution which has already been activated and which is in "Scheduled" status waiting to be performed.

Redistribute to non complete

Creates a new group distribution for non-complete devices. See Redistribution options for more information.

Refresh target status

Runs a validation check for the selected target assets. You can see the validation check results from the Group distribution item's "Targets" tab.

Remove from group distribution

Removes the selected targets permanently from the group distribution. The removed targets remain visible at the "Distribution status" tab, but their status description indicates that they have been removed from the group distribution.
