Finished group distributions can be used as a template to create new group distributions. The 'Redistribute to non complete' task of the group distribution form Tasks menu (Picture 1) creates a new group distribution using the same settings than the original (only the start and end times differ).
Picture 1: 'Redistribute to non complete' task allows you to perform a new group distribution for non completed devices.
With the help of 'Redistribute to non complete' popup window (picture 2) you can define which assets are excluded from the redistribution process.
Picture 2: Check boxes allow you to select which assets are excluded from the redistribution. See the meanings below.
Exclude reinstalled targets: Enabling this will exclude such assets from the redistribution which were reinstalled during the group distribution.
Exclude cancelled targets: Enabling this will exclude such assets from the redistribution where the group distribution was cancelled.
Exclude targets where software is installed based on inventory: Enabling this will exclude such assets from the redistribution which have the software installed already according to the latest software inventory.
Exclude targets where package has been installed successfully: Enabling this will exclude such assets from the redistribution which already have the package successfully installed.
Notice that removed group distribution targets are never included in the redistribution. Group distribution targets can be permanently removed from the group distribution by using the "Remove from group distribution" task from the Group distribution item's Tasks menu.
