Install a patch immediately
Sometimes it is useful that IT administrators can force devices to start patching immediately. They might want to do so when the device is unoccupied and ready for patching or if there is an urgent need to install certain software updates.
How to initiate immediate patching remotely
Miradore users in Administrator, Editor or Security Officer roles can use the "Install approved patches now" task to initiate the installation of approved patches on selected device(s) immediately.
This option ignores any possible installation schedules and maintenance windows set for the device(s).
The menu option is available on the Asset page, Asset configurations by name view and Security patch status by asset view.
