Software categories view

About

Software categories view lists all software category items that have been made into Miradore. A software category can be used as an attribute of a managed software item to specify the category of the software (e.g. office application).

Users in role Administrator or Editor can create new software categories.

Task

Description

Create new

Creates a new software category item.

Export

By default, this task exports all the view contents in the selected file format. However, you can use the check boxes in the view to export selected rows only. You can select rows for the export from one page of the view at a time.

The supported file formats for the data export are CSV, Excel, and PDF. In some views, configuration items can be also exported to a group distribution.

Print

Prints the view.
