Report builder view

About

Miradore Report builder can be used to create and store custom reports in Miradore management console. Custom reports are useful when built-in reports in Miradore are not suited for a specific need. Benefits of the Miradore Report builder include:

Ability to select all kind of attributes to reports
Advanced filtering: build expressions with logical conditions and grouping
Exporting large amounts of data with better performance

Selectable attributes for columns and filters include all attributes that are available in Miradore Web service. The complete list of available attributes is documented in Miradore Web service API specification.

Miradore Management Suite can be configured to send Report builder reports by email according to a schedule. For more information, please read Scheduling Report builder reports for email delivery.

Adding assets to group distribution jobs

Did you know that asset configuration items can be exported from a report to an existing (or new) group distribution job using the view task? For more information about group distributions, please read Group distribution.

View filters	Selectable. By default, the view does not contain any filters. For example, also removed assets will be shown unless filtered out.

View tools and actions

Task		Description
Export	Excel	Exports the contents of the report to Excel. If your report contains columns with multi-row data, such as inventory information, you will be prompted to choose whether you would like to create one or multiple worksheets into the Excel that is being generated. Choose "OK" to generate a multi-sheet Excel workbook. The columns which contain multi-row information will be also placed on separate sheets. Notice that generating multiple worksheets may take a longer time than generating only one worksheet. If you choose "Cancel", then all data will be exported to one Excel sheet.
	Web service URL	Returns a Miradore Web service URL. When the URL request is sent to Miradore Web service, it returns the contents of the report. For more information, refer to Miradore web service documentation.
	Miradore group distribution	This task can be used to add all assets from the report to an existing or new group distribution job. For more information about Group distributions, please read Group distribution.
