Currency

Select the currency to be used for electricity cost calculations. The selected currency will be shown on Power profiles, locations, system settings, and Power consumption inventory as a label.

The selection does not result in any recalculations or conversions of currencies. Administrators must set the default electricity price according to the selected currency themselves.

Default power consumption (W)

Default power consumption is used to specify the default average power consumption of devices. The default value is used at the following configuration items: Asset model item, and Hardware category item. The average power consumption can be manually modified for each of the items separately.

The average power consumption is used to calculate an estimate of device power consumption in wattages. The calculations are based on power state information that is gathered from devices by Miradore client.

Default electricity price

Default electricity price is used to specify the default electricity price. The default value is used at the Location item. The electricity price can be manually modified for each location separately.

The electricity cost attribute is used to calculate an estimate of device power costs. The calculations are based on power state information that is gathered from devices by Miradore client.

If the default electricity price is changed, any existing electricity costs in the Power consumption inventory will not be recalculated.
