How to restore Miradore server from a disaster situation.

Main steps to restore


  1. Reinstall the operating system (see prerequisites).

  2. Follow the server installation guide  to reinstall Miradore server.

    • Note! In case Miradore is installed to a different directory than before, you must manually change ApplicationPath value in SysSetting-table after you have restored the database.

  3. Stop the following services: "World Wide Web publishing service", "Miradore client connector (instance name)" and "MiradoreServer Scheduled Task Engine Logged on user"

  4. Restore file backup of the Miradore server directory.

  5. Restore databases using dorestore.cmd located in backup directory under Miradore server directory.

  6. If server name or IP changed, remember to update the DNS alias.

  7. Restart the server and check the functionality.
