System requirements

Before installing Miradore Management Suite 5.8.0, ensure that your system meets all the software and hardware requirements.

System requirements for environments with less than 5 000 managed devices

Server software:

Hard disk:

Miradore database requires about 1GB disk space per 1000 managed devices.
Master installation point requires from 20GB up to 200 GB HDD depending on the amount of software and installation media located at the installation point.

SQL server:

Free 64-bit version of Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Express Edition is included in the installer of Miradore Management Suite, and it can be used to manage up to 2 000 devices. The database can be upgraded later from the Express edition.
Database can be located on the same server that is used to host Miradore Management Suite.

System requirements for environments with 5 000 - 10 000 managed devices

Miradore database requires about 1GB disk space per 1000 managed devices.
Master installation point requires from 20GB up to 200 GB HDD depending on the amount of software and installation media located at the installation point.

SQL server:

Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition
Database can be located on the same server that is used to host Miradore Management Suite
Miradore Management Suite supports SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019.

System requirements for environments with more than 10 000 managed devices

Server software:

RAM:

Minimum 4GB is the minimum and 16GB or more is recommended for the environments with more than 10 000 managed devices -- assuming that the SQL database runs on a dedicated physical server (not on the same server that is used for hosting Miradore Management Suite).

Hard disk:

Miradore database requires about 1GB disk space per 1000 managed devices.
Master installation point requires from 20GB up to 200 GB HDD depending on the amount of software and installation media located at the installation point.

SQL server:

A dedicated physical database server with at least four CPU cores. Also pay attention to the speed of the database disks -- the faster the disks are, the better.

Miradore Management Suite supports SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
