Initial installation |
The initial installation of a computer includes the operating system installation and installation of all defined role, group and user specific software. Initial installation typically starts by formatting the hard disk, but the installation can also be done by using a preloaded operating system. |
Package building |

Package installation |
Miradore packages can be deployed using three methods

Group distribution |
Group distribution is a method for scheduling and distributing a package to multiple managed assets or servers. When creating a group distribution the package name, start & end time of the distribution and the list of target clients must always be defined. See also group distribution life cycle. |
Installation approval workflow |
Miradore workflow management is used for automating the process of requesting software, approval, and installation. The request is done using the Miradore self service portal from the computer where software is needed. See more information. |
