How to remove an installation point
This article describes the two steps for removing an installation point.
Requirements
Administrator's permissions are needed to remove an installation point.
1. Uninstall the installation point from the server
Use the Add/Remove Program - feature in the installation point server's Windows Control Panel to uninstall Miradore installation point.
Remember also to remove all the files related to the installation point.
Notice that his step applies only if the installation point was originally configured by using Miradore installer. Manually configured installation point needs to be removed manually.
2. Remove the installation point from Miradore
Go to the Installation points view Administration > Feature settings > Installation settings > Installation points in Miradore, and choose the installation point item you want to remove.
Enter into the Edit mode and Remove the installation point item.
Notice
When you remove an installation point from a larger installation point hierarchy, make sure that the installation point doesn't have any child installation points, or if it does, choose a new parent installation point for them.
