Severity |
Possible severity level values are:

Patch type | Patch type can be either Security patch, Non-Security patch, Security tool or OS Upgrade. |
Vendor | Patch vendor, for example "Microsoft". |
GUID | Patch GUID. |
Uninstallable | This field displays whether or not it is possible to uninstall this patch after installation. |
Info | More information about the patch. Often, a hyperlink to the security bulletin. |
Release date | Date when the patch was released. |
CVE(s) |
The Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system is a reference method for publicly known information security vulnerabilities and exposures. This field displays the CVE identifier(s) of vulnerabilities and exposures addressed by this patch. |
Description | Description usually contains information about the issues addressed by the patch. |

Approvals |
This field shows you the effective patch approval rules and enables you to modify and set new approval rules. In the rule, it is defined whether or not Miradore is allowed or denied to install this patch to a selected asset group. For more information, see Applying patches. |
Main: Superseding status
Attribute name |
Description |
Patches superseding this patch: | This field lists later patches which supersede this patch. In other words, this patch is unnecessary if any of the superseding patches is installed, because the superseding patch contains the same fix. |
Patches superseded by this patch: | This field lists earlier patches which are superseded by this patch. Sometimes a newer patch bundles many patches that have been released earlier. |

Did you know that, in "Administration > System settings > Main > Patch management > Patch download settings", you can configure which patch language versions Miradore downloads to the media master installation point by default if someone uses the "Download patch" task in Miradore. |

Cached |
The Cached column shows whether the patch media has been downloaded to the media master installation point. If you want to cache the patch media now, switch the page into Edit mode and then use the "Download" button on the right to start the download. |
