Asset configuration item inventory report tab

Inventory report tab assembles the inventory information associated with the asset configuration item. The content is grouped into tabs by the category. All inventory classes can be cleared using the "Clear inventory" task from the tasks menu in the page toolbar. See clearing inventory information for more information.

Summary

Summary tab shows summarized inventory information of mostly needed inventory information of the asset configuration item.

Hardware

Hardware tab contains information of the asset configuration item's hardware and peripheral devices. Also Plug and Play devices and driver information is shown on this page. Use the Graph button to view graphical presentation of disk space history.

Software

This page displays the software installed to the asset configuration item. Also the metered software usage and license status of each software is shown on this page.

Windows event logs

This tab contains information about the operating system and application crashes that have occurred on the device.

Security

Security tab contains information of local administrators, antivirus protection, and Microsoft patch status.

SNMP inventory

SNMP inventory tab contains information of SNMP inventory.

Pages: General

Pages tab shows inventory information associated with the print management feature. In the table you can see numerical and graphical data or printer usage per each month. This tab is shown only if the asset's hardware category is printer. The key terms of this tab are explained in the following table.

Attribute name

Description

Last scan

Last scan reveals the date and time when the printer information was last updated by SNMP scanner.

Current counter

Current counter displays the amount of printed pages which is collected from the printer by SNMP scanner.

Recommended monthly volume

The Recommended monthly volume describes the recommended maximum amount of printed pages per month that you can print on average.

Maximum monthly duty cycle

The Maximum monthly duty cycle gives us the capacity of a printer in terms of number of prints that can be printed in a month with no damage to the printer.  A widely accepted rule of thumb used to be that you should pick a printer with a maximum duty cycle that's at least three times the number of pages you print in an average month.

Financial information

This page represents the financial inventory information.

Custom inventory

This page represents the custom inventory information that has been collected of this asset with the help of custom scheduled tasks (i.e. custom inventory). Custom inventory can be used to collect customer-specified data about assets and enter the data into Miradore. The running interval and settings of custom inventory tasks can be configured from "Administration > System settings > Clients > General" in the management console of Miradore. More custom inventory related system settings can be found from "Administration > System settings > Main > Custom inventory".
