Starting from Miradore 3.2.0, it has been possible to configure Miradore components, on some local network (e.g. Miradore clients and connectors) to use a third-party proxy server to establish a HTTP(S) connection to Miradore server that is located on some public or external network (Picture 1).
Picture 1: Via a proxy server, Miradore clients and connectors can connect to Miradore server which is located on a public/external network.
Proxy configurations that Miradore clients (for Windows, Linux, and OS x) use can be managed from "Administration > System settings > Clients > General > Proxy configurations" in the management console of Miradore (Picture 2). The proxy configurations are then saved to Miradore as Proxy items.
Notice that a proxy configuration must be attached to some server network configuration before it can be actually used by Miradore clients.
