Running a package in specific context

On the Windows platform, Miradore packages can be executed in various different contexts.

You can choose the context for a package on the Package item using the Run as and Run as account fields.

You can find detailed descriptions for all the provided options from the Package item attributes page.

By default, all packages are run in the context of MiradoreClient, which is a local user account managed by the Miradore Client. Although, the account is not a member of any administrative groups, the installation process has administrative permissions.

Miradore Client for Windows 3.5.0 is the first client version which supports to run packages in different contexts. Older client versions don't support this feature. The older client's always run packages in the context of MiradoreClient.
