Contract item attributes

Main: General

Attribute name	Description
Contract name	Enter the contract name used and shown in all related configuration items and views. This field is mandatory.
Contract type	Contract types: Frame: A frame contract type is used for building hierarchies of contracts. A frame agreement can not be assigned directly to assets or license pools. Product contract: These are contracts between the creator of a product and the buyer of a product. An example of a product contract is a software license agreement. Product supply contract: These contracts specify the price and terms under which a product is supplied to a buyer. Supply contracts are usually between a buyer and a software/hardware reseller, distributor or lease company. Service supply contract: A service supply contract, also known as service level agreement (SLA) or operating level agreement (OLA), is a negotiated agreement between two parties where one is the customer and the other is the service provider. With Miradore service contracts you can control, monitor and report your IT assets from contracts point of view. The selection of the contract type can be done only when the contract status is 'New'.
Subtype	Contract subtype, for example lease contract.
Status	A contract item can have following system statuses: New: contracts with New status cannot be chosen to configuration items. Active: only active contracts can be chosen to configuration items. Closed Retired: hidden from all views
Contract number	Enter contract number. This field is optional.
Description	You may enter free description of the contract. This field is optional.
Default contract for all assets	If enabled this contract is assigned to all assets automatically when changing the asset status to 'Active'. Only available for Service contracts.

Customer

The contract customer is chosen from the Miradore organisations catalog. For lease contracts this is the definition of the lessee. This field is optional.

Supplier

The contract supplier is chosen from the Miradore suppliers catalog contract suppliers).

For lease contracts this is the definition of the lessor. This field is optional.

Main: Period

Attribute name	Description
Start date	Definition of the contract period (contract term) start date. Define the start date of the contract. This field is optional.
End date	Definition of the contract period (contract term) end date. Define the end date of the contract. This field is optional.

Main: Roles

Attribute name	Description
Customer main contact	By default the creator is defined as the contract manager. This field is mandatory.
Supplier main contact	Free text field for the definition of the supplier contact information. This field is optional.
Contract manager	By default the creator is defined as the contract manager. This field is mandatory.

Main: Service level

Attribute name	Description
Service levels	Only available for Service supply contracts. You may add as many Service levels as needed. The service level can be chosen on the Asset configuration page.
Severity levels	Only available for Service supply contracts. You may add as many Severity levels as needed. The severity level can be chosen on the Asset configuration page.

Main: Related contracts

Parent contract

List of contracts defined as parent contract for this contract. A child contract can have only one parent contract defined. Only contracts of type "Frame" can be selected as parent contract. This field is optional.

Child contracts

The list of child contracts to this contract. Note! this is a read-only field.

The parent-child relationship is always done at the child contract by defining the parent contract.

Attachments	You may attach files into this field. About attaching files. This field is optional.
Comments	You may add comments related to this contract. This field is optional.

Item status pane

Attribute name	Description
Assigned assets	Total amount of assets assigned to this contract.
Assigned users	Total amount of users assigned to this contract.
