A cost center is a configuration item in Miradore which you may allocate costs to and build reports. Typically used in case the location, organisation or contract dimensions are insufficient for measuring costs.
The cost center can be assigned to an asset and/or to a user. Users' cost center is set as the asset cost center by default if defined to the user. Note! updating the user's cost center does not automatically update the asset's cost center, but the asset's cost center can be updated from asset configuration form.
You may build hierarchies of the cost centers items and the cost center can be disabled from the system settings.
