Connector authorization

All Miradore connectors must be authorized before they can be run. Authorization is done in Miradore management console > System settings > Connectors. Connectors are identified by connector type and fully qualified domain name of the connector device.

Task

Install connector and run it once.

Navigate to "System settings > Connectors" in the management console of Miradore and open the connector item which you wish to authorize.

On connector item page, set Status to active and do other configurations if needed.

Notice! Authorization process works only with connectors released with Miradore 2.8.0 or newer versions.

Troubleshooting

Connector's status is active but connector's local log says that it's not authorized: Connector's local authorization key has been changed, connector may have been reinstalled or key have been modified manually. You have to remove connector from system settings and redo authorization.
